What Is the Commitment to Be a Coaching Fellowship Coach?
We ask our coaches to commit to coaching 2 fellows each calendar year. We currently offer 2 six-month Coaching Fellowship Programs each year.
- One 30-45 minute get to know you call with your new fellow (not a formal coaching call)
- Eleven hours of 1-1 Coaching with your fellow over Zoom, phone, Skype, WhatsApp, etc.
- Including a Discovery/Launch Session
- Including a Completion Session
- Each TCFS Coach commits to coaching a minimum of 2 fellows per year, 1 fellow per Coaching Fellowship program
- Total commitment to volunteer as a coach is approximately 15 hours every six months
We typically have shorter, special-focus programs offered throughout the year that our coaches are invited to support as well. Our Nightingale Fellowship for young women leaders working in COVID-19 response roles is an example of such a program.
How is The Coaching Fellowship addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?
We warmly and actively invite coaches with diverse backgrounds, and professional and personal experiences to reach out and connect with us. We have placed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the center of our work. We are committed to supporting and amplifying young women, social impact leaders of color who are critical to creating a new world together. It is crucial that young women who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) see themselves represented and feel comfortable to have a space to discuss the institutional, social, and personal challenges they face as women of color.
In embracing diversity, we welcome in and co-create a community of individuals rich with differences, including but not limited to gender identification, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, nationality, socio-economic situation, thinking and personality styles, physical abilities, spiritual/religious beliefs and practices, and education and professional background.
Please take a moment to understand our commitment by reviewing our DEI commitment statement.

While they bring a variety of focus areas for coaching, they all seek to grow as leaders and change agents in the world.
